WHAT: Restaurant fire.
WHEN: February 25, 2024, at 5:16 a.m.
WHERE: 1225 Westheimer Rd. 77006.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.

DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke and fire coming from a restaurant. They forced entry and extinguished the fire. There was no extension in the walls or ceiling. The utilities were controlled and HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 24 personnel responded to this incident, including crews from Stations 16, 2, 15, 6, 8, 7 and 24.
