WHAT: Restaurant fire.

INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $780,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $100,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation (appears to be accidental).
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find smoke inside a restaurant and upon forcing entry, found a fire in the HVAC ducts. They pulled the ceiling and air return to fully extinguish the fire. A primary and secondary search were completed, and the fire was extinguished. The crews removed the debris and ensured all hotspots were fully out. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 46 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 37, 2, 21, 28, 3, 48, 51, 24, 33 and Rescue 10.
