CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find heavy smoke coming from a restaurant within a strip center. They located and extinguished the fire and ventilated the nearby businesses. The fire caused significant damage to the restaurant and smoke damage throughout the building. Crews controlled the utilities and requested food inspectors. The building owner was advised to have a certified licensed electrician inspect and repair any damage before turning the power back on. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. 39 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 52, 23, 26, 70, 29, 61, 24, Rescue 42 and Rehab 42.
