WHAT: Residential Garage Fire

DAMAGE: $6,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find a house’s detached garage fully involved on fire. They made an attack and controlled the fire, putting out hotspots to ensure it would not re-ignite. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. Crews from Stations 39, 27 and 19 responded to this incident.
