WHERE: 5000 block of Droddy St. 77091.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $395,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $55,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find fire coming from a residential detached garage. They made an attack on the fire and conducted a primary search of the house. The crews extinguished the fire and the hot spots. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin. 34 personnel were dispatched to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 13, 15, 4, 50, 67 and 49.
