WHAT: Residential Detached Garage Fire.
WHEN: June 3, 2022 at 11:59 a.m.
WHERE: 3200 block of Reeves, 77004
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $85,000 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $15,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within three minutes to find smoke coming from a detached garage of a home. They used a K-12 saw to open the door and accessed the garage through one side that the fire had already burned through. The crews extinguished the fire and requested HFD Arson investigators to determine the cause and origin. Firefighters from Stations 25, 18, 7, 8 and 46 responded to this incident.
