Houston police are asking for the public’s help in locating two persons of interest wanted for questioning in the fatal shooting of a man that occurred at 1300 Chartres Street about 7:55 p.m. on Tuesday (April 11).
One person of interest is described as a Hispanic male, believed to be in his 30s, with facial hair and arm tattoos. The other person of interest is described as a Hispanic female, also believed to be in her 30s with brown hair and a medium build. Surveillance photos of the persons of interest are attached to this news release.
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant R. Montalvo and Detective E. Martinez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and found an unresponsive male suffering from a gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to a local hospital where doctors pronounced him deceased.
Preliminary investigation indicated the victim and an unknown suspect were involved in an argument that escalated to a shooting. The suspect(s) fled the scene in a 2015-2019 pearl white, Cadillac CTS or ATS.
