Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in a homicide investigation in which three males were shot, two fatally, at 12000 Huntington Glen Drive about 11 p.m. on Sunday (Dec. 16).
The suspect, Armani Randle (w/m, 17), is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 338th State District Court for his role in the incident. A booking photo of Randle, courtesy of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, is attached to this news release.
One deceased victim is identified as Michael Barrientos, 18. The identity of the other deceased male, age unknown, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. A third male, 16, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Holbrook and Detective J. Roscoe reported:
Officers were dispatched to a shooting call at the above address and found Mr. Barrientos lying in the street. He had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead by Houston Fire Department paramedics. A second victim, found on a sidewalk, was also shot. Paramedics transported him to the hospital for treatment.
Officers were then notified that a vehicle (Toyota Camry) was found nearby, crashed into a brick wall. Officers discovered a male in the driver’s seat. He also had suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators were initially seeking information on the whereabouts of Barrientos’ vehicle, a Toyota 4Runner, which was eventually located.
Further investigation identified Randle as a suspect in this case and he was arrested on Thursday (Dec. 20) without incident.
