DAMAGE: $57 thousand in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from the second floor of a motel. They made an offensive attack and checked the adjacent exposures. A primary search was completed with no one found and the fire was knocked down within 15 minutes. There were no signs of extension, and the motel was ventilated. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Crews from Stations 102, 56, 63, 64, 104 and 101 responded to this incident.
