WHAT: Mobile home fire.
WHEN: June 13, 2024, at 7:09 a.m.
WHERE: 3600 block of Thistle, 77047.
INJURIES: One deceased individual found.
PROPERTY SAVED: $81,651 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $15,000 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: Under investigation.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene to find no fire at the dispatched address, however after investigating the area found smoke coming from a nearby single wide mobile home on Thistle. They made an offensive attack and forced entry through the front door. A primary search was completed with one deceased adult male found. CenterPoint was requested to secure the utilities. The fire was fully extinguished and HFD Arson investigators and the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were requested due the deceased individual found and to determine the cause and origin. 33 personnel responded to this incident, including firefighters from Stations 55, 23, 46, 59, 47 and 24.
