WHAT: Mobile home fire.
WHEN: April 24, 2023 at 7:16 p.m.
WHERE: 3700 block of Bolin Rd. 77092.
INJURIES: No reported injuries.
PROPERTY SAVED: $47,500 in estimated property saved.
DAMAGE: $22,500 in estimated damage.
CAUSE: HFD Arson investigators ruled the cause as accidental (from a candle in close proximity to combustibles.)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: Firefighters arrived on scene within five minutes to find smoke coming from a small mobile home and entered the structure to control the fire. A primary search was completed, and it was determined everyone had safely made it out of the home. The crews extinguished the fire and contained it to the room of origin with no extension. HPD was requested for traffic control and the American Red Cross was notified for the residents. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 2, 5, 13, 38 and 50 responded to this incident.
