Other musical entertainers at the public event will be:
Gospel music singer Yolanda Adams

Country music singers Larry Gatlin and the Gatlin Brothers
The program will also include prayers by clergy and lay leaders from the Christian, Jewish, Sikh, Hindu and Muslim faiths.
Mayor Turner encourages all Houstonians to attend and wear colorful socks in tribute to the late president, who often surprised admirers with his colorful footwear. The public should also bring new pairs of colorful socks for donation to homebound beneficiaries of the Interfaith Ministries of Greater Houston Meals on Wheels program.
