Jargon-free symposium to highlight Houston’s latest HIV research

Houston’s latest HIV research presented in an easy-to-understand format is the focus of a free symposium for community leaders, organizations, health professionals, planning groups and the public.

The Houston Health Department and Baylor College of Medicine will sponsor “From Research to the Real World: Sharing Science Symposium” from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 5 at the Cooley Center, 1941 East Rd., Houston, TX 77054.

The symposium will include networking opportunities.
