Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman at 3918 Arlington Square Street about 7:20 a.m. last Friday (March 8).
The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives W. Huff and J. Nguyen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a suspicious person call at the above address where an individual told officers a female friend was inside an apartment and appeared to be deceased. Officers made entry to the apartment but were unable to locate a body.
Approximately 40 minutes later, officers responded to a call regarding the discovery of a deceased female in an open field at 12230 Sandy Hook Drive. Further investigation by HPD Homicide detectives determined both locations were related .
At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect (s).
