| Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a woman found at 11805 Meadowglen Lane about 11 a.m. on Saturday (January 25).
The identity of the woman, 71, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Clark and M. Nicotra reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report by a family member of a person down at an apartment complex at the above address. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the woman deceased.
Officers observed to the woman to have pieces of clothing missing from her body and multiple spots of blood throughout the apartment.
At this time, the investigation is pending the woman’s cause of death, to be determined by an autopsy.
