Houston police are investigating the death of a woman found at 4016 Market Street about 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday (November 20).
The victim is identified as Tamisha Williams, 36.
HPD Homicide Division Detective B. Evans reported:
According to Ms. Williams’ roommate, Williams had been out the prior evening (Tuesday, November 19) and returned home to the above address about 9 p.m. She told her roommate she had gotten into a physical altercation but did not say where or with whom. Williams then went to bed.
About 9 a.m. the next day, the roommate went to check on Williams and found her unresponsive. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced Williams deceased. She had suffered trauma to her face and body. The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences will conduct an autopsy to determine Williams’ cause of death.
