Investigation into Stabbing at 5900 Fannin Street

Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 5900 Fannin Street about 2:45 a.m. on Saturday (October 9).

The victim, James Pierce, 46, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers F. Lee and J. Windham reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a stabbing at the above address and were advised by Metro Police officers that Mr. Pierce had been stabbed in both arms and the chest. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported Pierce to the hospital.

Pierce advised Metro PD officers that he had been stabbed by a suspect known to him but refused to provide additional information.
