Houston police are investigating the stabbing of a man at 2121 Main Street about 6:15 a.m. on Sunday (Nov. 1).
The victim, Vidal Paz, Jr., 43, was transported to an area hospital where doctors stated he is expected to survive.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives S. Hall and D. Polite reported:
Officers were dispatched to a stabbing call at the bus station at the above address and found observed Mr. Paz being treated by paramedics for transport to a hospital. He had suffered multiple stab wounds to his back. Witnesses stated Paz was involved in a physical altercation with several black male suspects over a disagreement about a drug transaction. The suspects fled the scene before officers arrived.
