| Houston police are awaiting autopsy results on skeletal remains found at 7900 Little York Road about 7:45 a.m. today (Oct. 11).
The identity, gender and cause of death of the individual are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives K. Clark and M. Nicotra reported:
Officers responded to a report of skeletal remains found in the wooded area at the above address by workers. HPD homicide detectives and investigators with the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences Anthropology Department confirmed the skeletal remains were human.
The investigation is pending results from the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
