Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male that occurred at 8700 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) service road about 12:50 a.m. today (December 23).
The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Escobar, S. Overstreet, T. Tyler and B. Evans reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to an inn at the above address and found the victim, possibly shot in the head, lying in the parking lot next to a running vehicle.
There is no suspect(s) nor motive in this incident.
