Houston police are investigating the shooting of two males that occurred at 7401 Cullen Boulevard about 12:25 p.m. on Tuesday (April 3).
The victims, Cameron Walker, 20, and Dhevani Mitchell, 15, were transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Detectives C. Castellani and B. Rothberg reported:
HPD patrol officers were dispatched to a reported shooting at the above address. Upon arrival, they found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to witnesses and security video, a male suspect exited a silver vehicle and approached the victims’ vehicle. The victims attempted to flee, with the suspect chasing and firing multiple gunshots at the departing vehicle. The victims were struck and crashed into the underpass of Cullen and the South Loop (South Interstate Highway 610). The suspect then fled the scene.
The suspect is described only as a black male in his late teens to early 20s, with a skinny build and dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, black pants, and a black beanie hat. His vehicle is described as a silver 2012-2014 Hyundai Sonata GLS.
