Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men and one woman at 6900 Carvel about 2:50 p.m. on Saturday (Oct. 21).
The victims, Michael Regalado, 27, Manuel Gutierrez, 17, and Elizabeth Ramirez, 31, were transported to area hospitals with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.
HPD Major Assaults Unit Officer C. Castellani reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address. Upon arrival, they found a vehicle had crashed into a tree and three of the four occupants suffering from gunshot wounds. The three victims were transported to area hospitals for treatment. The fourth person in the vehicle was not injured.
Witnesses told investigators the vehicle passed two Hispanic males riding bicycles on the sidewalk. The bicyclists then began shooting at the occupants, striking three of them. The suspects then fled the scene.
The suspects are described only as two Hispanic males. One is approximately 18 to 19 years old, the other approximately 16 to 18 years old. One suspect was last seen wearing a blue T-shirt and blue shorts.
