Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 4020 Broadway about 8:05 p.m. on Wednesday (May 31).
The wounded male, 67, was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital in stable condition.
HPD Homicide Division Officers C. Sharp and M. Arrington reported:
The victim and another male got into a verbal argument regarding a handicapped parking space at the above address. The argument escalated to a physical confrontation. At that point, the male stated he felt his life was in danger and shot the victim. Paramedics transported the wounded man to the hospital.
The shooter, 69, who has a concealed handgun license, was questioned and later released pending further investigation.
