Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male about 1:55 a.m. on Tuesday (Jan. 5).
The victim, 15, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers J. Windham and V. Habukiha reported:
South Gessner patrol officers were dispatched to a hospital check for a shooting victim at a local hospital. Officers were advised a male patient suffered a gunshot wound to his right knee and was brought to the hospital by private vehicle.
Another male at the hospital told officers he was with the victim when the shooting occurred. He was not injured. Both he and the victim stated that unknown suspects in a dark, four-door sedan fired at them, before leaving in an unknown direction. The two males could not provide a specific address where the incident occurred, saying it was in the Ranchester Drive / Wilcrest Drive area.
