Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 9207 Cullen Boulevard about 8:05 p.m. on Saturday (July 3).
The victim, 32, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Castellanos and H. Martinez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting in a shopping center parking lot at the above address and found the victim had been shot multiple times. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
Further investigation determined the victim and a female were involved in a minor crash. An unknown suspect arrived at the scene, got into a verbal altercation with the victim and then shot him. The suspect, described only as a black male, then fled the scene in a white, four-door sedan.
It is believed the suspect and the female involved in the crash have a relationship.
