Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8550 West F.M. 1960 Road about 12:25 p.m. on Saturday (Apr. 18).
The victim, 25, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Sgt. T. Ferraro and Detective O. Flores reported:
The victim and another man were walking across the parking lot of the gas station at the above address when a black,four-door Toyota sedan drove into the parking lot. The driver of the vehicle pulled up next to the two men, opened his door and then fired multiple shots at the men. The driver then fled the scene. The victim was wounded in the ankle. The other man was not injured. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
The suspect is described only as a black male, 30 to 35 years of age.
