| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 8400 Howton Street that occurred about 8:40 a.m. today (May 21).
The victim was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers S. Buchanan and J. DeLaTorre reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and learned two males were driving in the area when their vehicle was struck by gunfire. One victim was transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital. The passenger in the vehicle was not injured. A third person in a second vehicle struck by gunfire was not injured.
The unknown suspect(s) were in a red, newer model, four-door Buick with a sunroof and paper license plates.
