Houston police are investigating the shooting of a male suspect that occurred at 8400 Broadway Street about 5:10 p.m. on Monday (November 4).
The suspect was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive his wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer S. Laird reported:
A man,19, was approached by the suspect, who argued about a debt owed to him. During the argument, the suspect pulled out a revolver and pointed it at the male. Fearing for his life, the male pulled out his own pistol and fired at the suspect several times. Paramedics transported the suspect to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he is expected to survive his wounds.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
