Houston police are investigating the shooting of two men at 7433 Bissonnet Street about 6:05 p.m. on Monday (January 17).
One victim, 25, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest. The second victim, 23, suffered a graze wound to the head.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives T. Youll and M. Deleon reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting near a parking at the above address and found evidence a shooting had occurred but no victims were located. As officers conducted an investigation, witnesses came forward and stated their vehicles had been damaged in an exchange of gunfire between persons in the parking lot and persons in a motor vehicle. Witnesses stated the persons were actively shooting at one another.
Officers were then notified that two victims were reportedly dropped off at area hospitals. Further investigation determined these two persons were involved in the shooting incident. The first victim was in critical but stable condition at last report. The second victim victim was treated for minor wounds to the head. Upon release, he was arrested on an unrelated outstanding warrant.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
