| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7404 Airline Drive about 9 p.m. on Saturday (August 1).
The victim, Enrique Pineda, 36, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers J. Roberts and A. Ferrell reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting in a parking lot of a business at the above address and were told the persons involved had left the scene. Officers were told Mr. Pineda called for an ambulance to his residence.
Further investigation determined four Hispanic males got into a verbal argument outside a store at the above location that escalated to a shooting. Pineda suffered gunshot wounds to the abdomen and his lower body.
