Investigation into Shooting at 7200 Bissonnet Street

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 7200 Bissonnet Street about 7:40 p.m. on Saturday (September 4).  

The victim, Jose Constanza-Servellon, 49, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers L. Castellanos and H. Martinez reported:

HPD patrol officers responded to a hospital check regarding a person with a gunshot wound to the head.  Officers learned the victim, Mr. Constanza-Servellon, had been shot in a parking lot at the above address and managed to drive himself to the hospital.  Officers responded to the Bissonnet location and secured the area.

Further investigation determined the victim was involved in a drive-by shooting after observing two unknown males arguing with each other.  One of the males shot in the direction of the other but missed and struck Constanza-Servellon.

The suspects were seen in a dark-colored van of unknown make and model.
