| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 700 Waugh Drive about 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday (July 2).
The victim, Mani Nezami, 36, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers V. Habukiha and S. Ragsdale reported:
Mr. Nezami was in his vehicle at a stop light at the above address when the drivers of two other vehicles got into an altercation. During the altercation, shots were fired from one vehicle toward the other and Nezami was struck in the left shoulder. Paramedics transported him to an area hospital.
The vehicles are described only as a white, four-door sedan and a dark-colored late model SUV.
