Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 6800 Martin Luther King Boulevard about 8:40 p.m. on Wednesday (March 28).
The victim, 26, was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital in critical condition.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Magano and Officer T. Fay reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a report of a vehicle crash at the above address and learned the driver of one of the vehicles had been shot in the head. He was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
Further investigation determined two passengers in the victim's car exited the vehicle after the crash and fled the scene on foot.
