Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man and a juvenile male that occurred at 6600 Dunlap Street about 1:40 p.m. on Sunday (Jan. 5).
One victim, Bruce Harris, 39, was struck twice and the other victim, 15, was struck once in the foot. Both were transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer S. Laird reported:
The victims were in the apartment complex parking lot at the above address when a known juvenile male suspect pulled up in a white Nissan Rogue. The suspect got out of the vehicle and confronted the juvenile victim. Words were exchanged and Mr. Harris attempted to intervene. At that time, the suspect pulled out a gun and fired several shots, striking both victims. The suspect and two other males fled in the Nissan. Responding paramedics then transported the two victims to the hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
