Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 6440 West 43rd Street about 11:05 p.m. on Wednesday (March 24).
The male, 30, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives F. Lee and V. Habukiha reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a business at the above address and learned a male employee was taking out the trash when he was rushed by a random adult male. The employee stated he felt threatened, took out his pistol and shot the man. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported the male to the hospital.
No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
