Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 6135 Balbo Street about 6:05 p.m. last Friday (March 12).
The victim, 16, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officer K. Garza reported:
Officers were dispatched to a discharging firearms call at a residence at the above address and learned a female shot her boyfriend during an argument. The victim was wounded in the abdomen and eventually transported to the hospital.
The female, 15, was questioned for her role in the shooting. After consulting with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, no charges were filed, pending further investigation.
