Houston police are investigating the shooting of five men and one woman at 6003 Richmond Avenue about 2:20 a.m. on Sunday (June 11).
Four of the male victims, 29, 27, 30 and 32, and a 28-year-old female were transported to area hospitals in stable conditions. One of the males, 27, was transported in critical condition.
One other male, 27, suffered minor injuries to the arm from broken glass.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives S. Elias and M. Bellahna reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting in the area near 3100 Fountain View Drive. Officers working an extra job at the location were flagged down by a witness requesting aid for a gunshot wound victim. As officers arrived, they learned of additional gunshot wound victims in the area.
An initial investigation determined the shooting occurred in the parking lot of a bar at 6003 Richmond Avenue, following an argument with unknown male suspects inside the bar.
At this time, the suspects are described only as four unknown males.
