Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 6000 Bissonnet Street about 3 p.m. on Tuesday (January 19).
The victim, 15, was transported to an area hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Barker and M. Combs reported:
The victim stated he was hanging out at the laundromat of his apartment complex when he was approached by two unknown Hispanic males who began asking him questions. The juvenile and one of the males began fighting, at which time the second male produced a gun and shot the victim in the leg. Both suspects fled as the victim ran away.
