Investigation into Shooting at 600 Regal Street

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 600 Regal Street about 5:40 p.m. on Wednesday (November 10).

The wounded man, 36, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives M. Combs and A. Barker reported:

A woman’s ex-boyfriend (suspect) approached a man, 34, and pointed a gun at his head.  The other man then produced a gun of his own and shot the suspect in the chest area.  The first man (suspect) was transported to the hospital for treatment.  The other man (shooter) remained at the scene and was questioned and released, pending further investigation.
