Houston police are investigating the shooting of two male juveniles at 5901 Selinsky Road about 7 p.m. on Monday (January 17).
The victims, ages 1 and 6, were transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives R. Mendoza and H. Martinez reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and, as they drove the location, were flagged down by a vehicle with several persons inside. Officers learned two juveniles in the vehicle had been shot. Officers provided medical assistance and the juveniles were transported by Houston Fire Department paramedics to the hospital.
Further investigation determined the shooting occurred at an apartment complex at the above address and found several fired shell casings in the parking lot.
At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s).
