Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 5900 Selinksky Road that occurred about 11:05 p.m. on Wednesday (October 6).
The victim, Marvin Ware, 41, was transported to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives B. Godoy and A. Graf II reported:
HPD officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex at the above address and found Mr. Ware lying on the ground and had been shot several times. Houston Fire Department paramedics responded to the scene and transported Ware to the hospital.
Witnesses reported seeing a suspect, described only as a black male, flee the scene in a small sedan after the shooting.
