Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 5728 Tidwell Road about 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday (July 28).
The victim, 40 to 50 years of age, was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers J. Russell and C. Castellani reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found the victim in a convenience store parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the neck. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to the hospital for treatment.
At this time, there are no known witnesses to the shooting, however a few individuals reported hearing the gunshot while inside the store.
