| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 5335 Gulf Freeway (South Interstate Highway 45) about 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday (November 19).
The victim, Luis Hernandez, 21, was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Williams and B. Naughton reported:
HPD patrol officers were flagged down near the above address for a shooting call in the 2000 block of Broadway Street. Officers learned Mr. Hernandez was in the passenger seat of his brother’s vehicle when a vehicle of unknown make and model pulled up next to him and someone inside fired multiple times. Of the four people inside, Hernandez was the only person struck by the gunfire. Paramedics responded to the scene and transported him to the hospital.
