Houston police are investigating the shooting of two juvenile males at 5300 Sonora Street about 11:45 p.m. on Sunday (May 23).
The victims, 15, were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers S. Hall and C. Brannen reported:
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting at the above address and found a juvenile male had been shot multiple times in the stomach area. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to the hospital. According to witnesses, the juvenile shot at another male as he was walking in the street.
As officers were investigating this incident, another juvenile male was transported by private vehicle to an area hospital with a gunshot wound. Investigators believe this juvenile was involved in the shooting. Both juveniles have refused to provide statements at this time.
The investigation is continuing.
