| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a juvenile male at 4907 Southwind Street about 10 p.m. on Sunday (September 15).
The victim, 9, was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
HPD Major Assaults & Familoy Violence Division Officer L. Boklmanski reported:
The victim was riding on the back of his mother’s electric scooter when he was shot by what appeared to be buckshot. Paramedics transported the child to Memorial Hermann Hospital to be treated.
At this time, there are no known suspects.
