Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 4804 Martin Luther King Boulevard that occurred about 7:50 am. today (July 23).
The male victim, 44, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives J. De La Torre and E. Neal reported:
Officers responded to a reported shooting at a convenience store at the above address and found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. According to the victim, he had a physical altercation with the suspect, at which time the suspect pulled a gun and began shooting at the victim. The suspect then fled in an unknown green vehicle. The suspect is described only as a black male, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He is known to go by the name “Brian”.
