| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man that occurred at 3800 Faulkner Street about 6:20 p.m. on Wednesday (October 14).
The victim, 31, was transported to an area hospital where doctors expect him to survive.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Baker and M. Combs reported:
The victim was sitting in his parked vehicle in an apartment complex at the above address when a newer model, black Infinity FX35 Sport Utility Vehicle passed the 7000 block of Scott Street. An unknown front seat passenger in the Infinity fired shots from the moving vehicle toward the area where the victim was parked. The victim was struck once in the shoulder. The Infinity then fled the scene on Scott Street. Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.
