Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man found at 2600 Vance Street about 8:40 a.m. on Thursday (June 10).
The victim, Ronald Rockett, 36, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers A. Carroll and E. Neal reported:
Mr. Rockett was driving his vehicle near the above address when an unknown suspect(s) fired shots into the vehicle, likely as it was moving. Rockett was struck in the upper chest area. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to the hospital.
At this time, there is no known suspect(s) or motive.
