| Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 14047 Acuna Lane about 9:35 a.m. today (March 25).
The victim, Larry Charles Washington, 67, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers W. Elliott and R. Rivera reported:
Mr. Washington was at a residence at the above address and talking with a friend known only as “Buddy.” During the conversation, “Buddy” produced a pistol and discharged it. Washington was struck by the gunfire and paramedics transported him to the hospital.
Washington claimed the shooting was accidental. No charges have been filed at this time, as the investigation is continuing.
