Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man and a woman at 13000 North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45) service road about 11:40 a.m. on Sunday (Aug. 22).
The male victim, 49, and female victim, 27, were transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Detectives A. Johnson and C. Brannen reported:
Officers responded to a shooting call on the southbound (inbound) service road at the above address and were told by the victims they were shot while driving. The victims stated they had an altercation with someone at a nearby gas station and believe that is what led to the shooting. They described the suspect vehicle only as a red Nissan sedan.
Both victims sustained graze wounds to the right side of their faces and were taken by paramedics to a hospital for treatment.
